
Halloween biscuits.
In Halloween I was quite bored at home because I wasn't aloud to go trick or treating.
So instead of sitting at home bored I made some crummy Halloween biscuits.
I am going to teach you how to make some Halloween special biscuits.
I hope you have tried to make the chocolate cake. if not you must make these delicious biscuits.
Ingredients:
75g butter, at room temperature
75g light sugar
1 medium size egg, beaten
250g plain flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 table spoon ground ginger (optional)
Mini buttons chocolate
Icing sugar (any colour)
How to make the delicious cookie
1. preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius Gas mark 4
2. Beat together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
3. Gradually beat in the egg
4. Sift in dry ingredients and mix thoroughly to perform dough.Knead gently on floured surface.
5. Wrap and chill for 30 minutes
6. Roll out to thickness 2-3mm and cut out shapes using Halloween cutters. (available in Tesco's, Asda and Sainsburys)
7. Arrange shapes on baking tray and bake 12-15 minutes until golden. cool on a wire rack.
9. When cold decorate with rolled icing cut into shapes like the cookies shapes that you have made. Place on top of cookie and decorate with2 small chocolate mini buttons.
